Who I Am...

A Fed Up Customer

 

My name is Mark and I am fed up. I am tired of being kicked around as a consumer after paying top dollar for second rate (or worse) products and service. I truly am a positive person, don't get me wrong. Its just that it seems no matter where I go, many times I get lousy service. It may be at a restaurant, grocery store, clothing merchant, or even my very own health care provider! Often times I get the runaround whenever I have a dispute with a merchant. These problems are not unique, however. The more I talk to people about this subject, the more I realize I am not alone. Almost everyone can name a recent time when they were frustrated with the quality - or lack thereof - of service provided to them. That's what this site is all about.

My intention is not to bad mouth business and capitalism in general. There are quite a few merchants that I strongly recommend, and that have been of tremendous value and help to me. I also understand and agree with the fact that they are in the business of making a living, otherwise known as getting a piece of the American Pie. There is nothing wrong with that. The problem occurs when a specific business entity strays from the basic integrity that we as consumers expect. Unfortunately, it is becoming more and more common for these two parties to be at odds with one another and it is easy for the consumer to feel "out muscled".

We must stick to our guns and continue to expect satisfactory service and products. When something goes wrong, its important to be persistent yet professional and respectable at the same time. Another important note: do not nit pick. Choose your battles carefully and take one case at a time.....
